Türk tiyatrosunun iki duayen ismi Bedia Muvahhit ve Reşit Baran'ın birlikte kaleme aldıkları, dört perdelik komedi olan Duvardaki Delik’in (Un trou dans le mur) birinci ve ikinci perdesinin transkripsiyonu yapıp oyunun elimizde bulunmayan üçüncü ve dördüncü perdelerini de Fransa’daki orijinal eserden alarak çalışmamızı tamamladık. İBB Şehir Tiyatroları arşivinde dahi olmayan bu eseri okuyucularımızla buluştururken tiyatro tarihine ve Türk edebiyatına bir ilki daha kazandırabilmenin mutluluğunu yaşadık.

We transcribed the first and second acts of A Hole in the Wall (Un trou dans le mur), a four-act comedy composed by Bedia Muvahhit and Reşit Baran, two doyens of the Turkish theater. We completed our work by taking the third and fourth acts, which are the incomplete and unfinished parts of the adaptation of the play, from the original work printed in France. By introducing this work, which is not even in the archives of the Istanbul City Theaters, to our readers, we were happy to bring another unprecedented work to the history of theater and Turkish literature.
